Get close to these beautiful, intelligent creatures. Interact with these playful, curious and sociable mammals. Watch their exquisite movements. Listen to a symphony of sound and feel part of their magical world. Enjoy the experience of a lifetime.

Marsa Alam is located on the Egyptian Red Sea coast. It is a tropical paradise with secluded coves, crystal blue waters and truly the most beautiful beaches of Egypt. The area is famous for the spectacularly Samadai Reef, which is located just a few hundred metres off the shores of Marsa Alam. This crescent-shaped beautiful coral reef protects a shallow turquoise lagoon, which is permanently inhabited by a pod of over 100 spinner dolphins.

We approach the dolphins in a sensitive and non intrusive way. Contact with the dolphins involves swimming together or perhaps just floating above them witnessing their exquisite movements and sounds in the big blue as they swim beneath us. Sometimes they gesture and play with us as they leap out of the water, impressing us with their acrobatic tricks above the waves. Occasionally we get the chance to come face to face with an inquisitive dolphin which come up close and look us in the eye! The dolphins however roam wild and free here. Sightings are common but not guaranteed.

We give just two kinds of possibilities of dolphin swimming holidays.

Entering the water and swimming with the dolphins requires an average level of fitness. We assume you have a good swimming ability and it helps if you are familiar with using a mask and snorkel.

There will be snorkelling practice on the first day and time to learn the ‘in-water encounter’ procedures. You will develop confidence, skill and sensitivity with dolphins in the open ocean.

Often people travel in couples, alone, with friends or family. So, the groups can be very diverse and sociable, a great way to meet new people. Of course we can arrange this itinerary also for your own group.
